Live Learn Survive empowers children so they are confident and know what to do in an emergency and help them unleash their inner superhero.

On a mission to reduce the statistic that 42 people drown globally every hour of every day and to raise awareness that children don’t just drown in the ocean.

In 2014, the World Health Organisation commissioned a global report, its first ever dedicated to Drowning. Their advice was, that other than installing barriers or keeping children away from water the leading point of action is, to teach water safety to school aged children, and it is our vision that every child has access to this education, no matter their location or background.

Since launch Trent and Leigh have travelled to 3 continents and educated face to face over 30,000 children, in 6 countries across 60 cities working with over 100 schools and children’s clubs and organisations.

The duo have created a set of award winning children’s books, and working remotely through the pandemic launched a world first, a global online platform to teach teenagers and young adults life skills to not only help themselves, but others too, it has members in over 25 countries.

Trent and Leigh are also cohosts of the Live Learn Survive podcast and use this platform to inspire the next generation of first responders by interviewing lifeguards and first responders from around the world.
